We have had quite a lot going on the last few days...The night before last Kaden would not go to bed. He kept coming out of his room complaining of a belly ache, he does his quite frequently if he just doesn't want to go to bed. We kept sending him back to bed and telling him that he needed to go to sleep. Finally after the 20th time of him coming out I went in his room and sat on his floor and he threw up....Ugghhh...I felt SO bad. He just wasn't acting sick at all. I let him come out on to the couch with me and he fell asleep out there. He has been fine ever since. He says he drank too much bath water...nice! He also went to the dentist today to have his second check up. He did so good!!! He was doing everything the hygentist said to do while she was cleaning his teeth. He did really great with the dentist too. He said everything looked good but that Mama needs to help him with his brushing a little more...The dentist told him that, so maybe he may be a little more receptive of me helping him... We'll see how that goes tonight. Overall, it was another positive experience there. We have done nothing but make the dentist fun, so he hasn't had any negative associations with the dentist yet...Hope that continues for awhile. Austin goes in for his first appointment in May.

Last night Austin got his second haircut ever! Believe me, I nearly shed a tear seeing his curls fall to the ground. If you know me, you know how much I love his curls. I just knew that his hair was bothering him and falling in his eyes and I just wanted him to be comfortable. Here are the pictures...

DURING

AFTER

I decided on Easter Sunday that I was going to do something to get happy and healthy again. Throughout my life I have always been pretty active. I played sports all my life and it really wasn't until I started beauty school in 03' that I stopped working out. Soon after I met Mike and the rest is history...I have gained some weight over the last 6 years. Between being in love, having babies and being a busy Mom, I put myself on the back burner. In turn it has made me an unhappy miserable person. Sometimes I can hide this pretty well. However, the people closest to me often get the brunt of my unhappiness. So I started Weight watchers. Never in a million years did I ever think I would need to do this. I just was overwhelmed with the idea of having to lose more than 20lbs and needed the accountability of knowing that someone else would weigh me every week. The first week I lost 10lbs...I was so stoked. It was an amazing start and I know that finally I am on my way to reaching my goal of feeling good again. I am just super excited about it. Mike has been amazing. So supportive...I love so much for being there for me and not giving up on me. Stay tune for more updates on that....

Congrats on the weight loss Alyssa! That's wonderful! I am going to be on the same journey soon, but I have a huge amount of weight to lose...It helps to know others are in the weight loss process as well. :-)
